Section 230
Not to be treated by unlicensed persons

(1) No one shall provide medical services, mutilate any part of the human body, administer or prescribe any medicine or treat in any other manner, except for a person who has obtained a license to treat from an authority authorized in accordance with the law after obtaining the prescribed educational qualification in a medical-related matter. .
(2) Regardless of what is written in sub-section (1), a person who has knowledge about treatment through long experience will not be hindered in giving medicine of a minor nature that does not have any particular adverse effect on the human body of a patient suffering from a minor disease or treating a minor wound or scab.
(3) A person who commits or causes an offense under sub-section (1) shall be imprisoned for up to three years and fined up to thirty thousand rupees.
(4) In contravention of sub-section (1), an offender who causes the death of someone while providing medical services, administering chirfar or administering medicine shall be imprisoned for life and in case of mutilation shall be imprisoned for up to fifteen years.
